Webinar invitation: Thematic research 2023

Independent Research Fund Denmark invites you to participate in our webinars on the thematic calls for 2023 on ‘Independent green research’, ‘Strengthened clinical and independent research’, ‘Better framework for psychiatry’, ‘Strengthened research on vulnerable children and youth’, ‘Learning and well-being in elementary schools’ and ‘Stronger research environments for vocational education’.

There will be three webinars with the same agenda on May 15, May 16 and May 17 2023. 

Monday 15 May 2023, 2:30 - 4:00 pm

Tuesday 16 May 2023, 1:00 - 2:30 pm

Wednesday 17 May 2023, 10:00 - 11:30 am
The webinars will be held in English.

During the webinar, you will hear about the following, among other things:

  • Introduction (5 min.)
  • Overview of the thematic calls for 2023 (5 min.)
  • Interview with selected chairs of the thematic committees (20 min.)
  • Introduction to the thematic calls (30 min.)
  • Funding instruments and general requirements (10 min.)
  • Applications and assessment criteria (10 min.)
  • The application platform: E-grant (5 min.)
  • Statistics (5 min.)

The time estimates are guiding. If you cannot participate in the full webinar, we recommend to log onto the link well in advance if you wish to hear more about a specific item on the agenda.

The agenda is the same for all three webinars. During the webinars, we will be accompanied by some of the chairs for the thematic committees. Below you can see the distribution of the chairs for each webinar:

  • Monday 15 May: The chairs of the committees for ‘Better framework for psychiatry’ and ’Strengthened clinical and independent research’ will participate.
  • Tuesday 16 May: The chairs of the committees for ‘Independent green research’, ‘Better framework for psychiatry’ and ‘Learning and well-being in elementary schools & Stronger research environments for vocational education’ will participate.
  • Wednesday 17 May: The chair persons for ‘Strengthened clinical and independent research’, ‘Independent green research’ and ‘Strengthened research on vulnerable children and youth’ will participate.

The webinar is aimed at all potential applicants and others, who might have an interest in hearing more about the thematic calls. Before participating in the webinars, we recommend reading the respective calls which can be found on our website (please note that the remaining English versions of the thematic calls will soon be available).

The invitation may be forwarded to potential candidates, employees at relevant institutions and others who might be interested.

The webinar will be held on Zoom. Please note that the maximum number of participants is 1.000 per webinar.

Participation in the webinar is free of charge and does not require active registration. The spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The webinars will not be recorded.
