HERA is looking for a Knowledge Exchange Facilitator for the joint research programme ‘Crisis’

HERA now invites applications for funding to act as a Knowledge Exchange Facilitator (KEF) for ‘Crisis’. The application process and funding is administered by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).

Independent Research Fund Denmark is a partner in the joint European call from HERA (Humanities in the European Research Area): 'Crisis – Perspectives from the Humanities.

The knowledge exchange facilitator’s role is to strengthen the overall cohesion of the ‘Crisis’ joint research programme and bring together HERA-funded projects by developing knowledge exchange activities including organising kick off and closing programme conferences.

Timeline:

  • 19 April 2024 9:00am: Opening date
  • 9 July 2024 4:00pm: Closing date
  • August 2024: Assessment panel
  • September 2024: Opportunity outcomes
  • December 2024 to January 2025: Project starts

Facts about the HERA ‘Crisis’ call:

·       The call has a total budget of up to 15.5 million euros.

·       Independent Research Fund Denmark’s share is 1 million euros.

·       The call allows Danish researchers to apply for research funding for transnational research projects.

·       Researchers based in Denmark can apply for a maximum of 375,000 euros (incl. overhead), per project, while the total project budget must not exceed 1.5 million euros (incl. overhead).
