Ready for the second application round of the joint European call 'Crisis – Perspectives from the Humanities'

Independent Research Fund Denmark is a partner in the joint European call from HERA (Humanities in the European Research Area): 'Crisis – Perspectives from the Humanities.' The programme's first application round (outline proposals) has concluded, and selected applicants have been invited to submit a full proposal for the second round. The deadline for full proposals is 26 March , 2024.

Independent Research Fund Denmark  is involved in financing the HERA network's call 'Crisis – Perspectives from the Humanities along with 21 other national research funding organisations across Europe. The first application round for the 'Crisis' programme (outline proposal stage) has concluded. The invited applicants for the second application round (full proposal) have not been publicly disclosed but have been notified directly.

Facts about the call:

  • The call has a total budget of up to 15.5 million euros.
  • Independent Research Fund Denmark’s share is 1 million euros.
  • The call allows Danish researchers to apply for research funding for transnational research projects.
  • Researchers based in Denmark can apply for a maximum of 375,000 euros (incl. overhead), per project, while the total project budget must not exceed 1.5 million euros (incl. overhead).
