A total of seven explorative networks have received nearly 5.5 million DKK. The networks aim to strengthen collaboration between Danish research environments across institutions, research traditions, and scientific approaches, and may also reinforce cooperation between Danish and international partners.
Among the explorative networks is the research network ‘Encountering the history of child mental health in Europe’, which examines the historical development of child psychiatry and psychology in Europe, including how children’s mental health became a central focus in medical and public discussions throughout the 20th century. The network ‘Early Modern Danish Literature (1500–1800)’ brings together a diverse group of researchers and institutions, shedding new light on Danish literature from 1500 to 1800 – a period that has received less attention than others in research and teaching.
