About Horizon Europe

Horizon Europe is the EU’s research and innovation programme for 2021–2027. It supports curiosity-driven research, researcher mobility, and strategic research and innovation, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary solutions and international collaboration. You can read more about Horizon Europe and the 2025 calls on the website of the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science (in Danish).

Between 2025 and 2027, several new partnerships are expected to be launched, including Resilient Cultural Heritage, which Independent Research Fund Denmark is part of. The Fund’s participation will allow researchers in Denmark to apply for funding under calls that the Fund contributes to within the partnership – including the newly published draft work programme.
