Independent Research Fund Denmark (DFF) expects to publish its calls for proposals for autumn 2025 and spring 2026 in week 23.
DFF invites research support units and other administrative staff at applicant institutions to attend an in-person meeting in Odense with the DFF Secretariat. The meeting will cover changes to the upcoming call, communication efforts related to the calls, feedback on the new thematic instrument, the new website, and more.
The meetings will take place at the DFF Secretariat, Asylgade 7, 5000 Odense C:
12 June 2025, 10:00–13:00 (including a light lunch)
13 June 2025, 10:00–13:00 (including a light lunch)
The agenda will be the same for both meetings. Please note that online or hybrid participation is not possible.
Due to limited space at DFF’s premises, an initial invitation was sent directly to the institutions’ central email inboxes on 11 April, allowing them to register one participant each. Registration is now open to all, on a first-come, first-served basis – with a maximum of three participants per institution. Currently, there are 10 available places for each of the two meeting dates.
When registering, please indicate which date(s) you are available to attend. Indicating both dates will increase your chances of securing a place.
Register for the in-person meeting here.
As in previous years, DFF will also host English-language webinars for applicants and other interested parties, providing an overview of the calls and application requirements. The webinar covering the calls for A2025/S2026 is expected to take place in late August or early September. The date will be announced via the fund’s newsletter and other communication channels before the summer holidays.
