The fund’s new website is designed to make it easier to find information about funding opportunities, application deadlines, and requirements for the various funding instruments. At the same time, the website provides easy access to data on the many research projects that the fund has already supported.
Each year, the fund receives around 4,000 applications and awards research grants to approximately 500 projects spanning all major scientific fields, from basic research to applied research. The new website offers a more user-friendly overview of the fund’s application options. To make it easier for researchers to find the most relevant opportunities, each funding instrument now has its own page with all necessary information, guidelines, and documents.
The website has also been given a new design that is more contemporary and user-friendly. A new menu section targeted at researchers who have already received a grant from the fund provides a one-stop resource with all the essential information gathered in one place.
The website now offers more data on the numerous projects that the fund has supported over time. As a new feature, for completed research projects, visitors can not only read the popular science description of the project but also see the researcher’s own brief summary of the project’s outcomes, written at the conclusion of the research. This feature is only in Danish for now.
The fund hopes that the new structure and improved overview will make it easier for researchers to apply for funding and stay updated on the fund’s supported projects.
