All research projects that have received funding from Independent Research Fund Denmark since 2014 can be viewed on the Fund’s website. Now, Independent Research Fund Denmark also makes its grant data available to others via a system-to-system access (API). This enables research institutions to work with the data directly in their own systems and to set up their own views of the information they require.
Independent Research Fund Denmark now offers system-to-system access (API) to the fund’s grant data. This allows institutions and other users to retrieve the same core data on funded research projects that are already displayed on the fund’s website. The solution is aimed at users who wish to access the fund’s grant data from their own systems rather than through individual lookups in the overview of funded research on the fund’s website.
Institutions can now gain access to an API where they can set up their own views and filter data, for example by institution, year, or funding instrument, without having to use the fund’s website.
The data made available through the API consist of the same core data on funded research projects that can already be found on the fund’s website. The API updates the data every night and will therefore always display the most recent updates. This applies, for example, to new grants, changes to grants, and any other changes.
The API is not a self-service solution but is made available upon specific request. Access is free of charge.
