Changes to the Fund’s telephone opening hours for applicants

The office of Independent Research Fund Denmark provides guidance by email and phone to applicants on administrative and procedural aspects of applying to the fund. This support will continue, but phone hours will be adjusted to better reflect actual demand.

Phone hours will be reduced by one hour during periods with fewer inquiries and extended around application deadlines. During particularly quiet periods – such as the summer holidays and the Christmas and New Year period – the phone line will be closed. Guidance will still be available via email, except on public holidays and official government closure days (the day after Ascension Day and the period between Christmas and New Year).

These changes reflect a reduction in staff resources as part of the government’s ‘work programme’.
