Help ensure strong expertise in the research councils of Independent Research Fund Denmark in 2027

The Board of Independent Research Fund Denmark hereby invites nominations for 30 members of the fund’s research councils. The deadline for submitting nominations is Tuesday, 11 August 2026 at 04.00 PM. 

The members of the research councils of Independent Research Fund Denmark perform an important task for Danish research. The councils’ primary responsibility is to assess research applications and award grants to the most original and excellent research projects with the potential to create scientific breakthroughs. In short, serving as a council member is an opportunity to contribute to strengthening the quality of Danish research.
