Know an outstanding research team? Nominate them for the Into Change Award

Do you know a research team in Europe that has pushed the boundaries of knowledge and produced research with a significant impact on society? You can now nominate candidates for the Into Change Award – one of the world’s largest research prizes.

The Into Change Award recognises European research teams that, through research of the highest international calibre, have generated new knowledge and solutions for the benefit of society. The award is open to research teams from across Europe and from all scientific fields.

The award is presented by the Danish Minister for Research, Education and Digital Affairs and recognises outstanding research as well as the values that characterise strong research environments: curiosity, collaboration, responsibility, respect and openness.

The winning research team will receive a total prize of DKK 8 million. Part of the prize is awarded as a personal honour to the members of the research team, while the remainder may be used to support research activities.

Nominations are also open for the Into Innovation Award, which recognises researchers, innovators and collaborations that have successfully transformed research and knowledge into innovations and businesses.

The deadline for submitting nominations is 14 August 2026.

Please note: E-grant, where nominations are submitted, will be closed from 6 to 20 July. It will therefore not be possible to submit nominations during this period.
