New dates: Webinar on the Fund’s 2026 calls for proposals

New dates: Independent Research Fund Denmark is hosting two webinars on 22 April and 27 April 2026 for those who are considering applying to the fund during the year. The webinars will be held in English and will cover both the independent and the thematic calls. Participants will gain an overview of funding opportunities and the most important changes in the 2026 calls for proposals.

The webinars will take place on:

  • Webinar: Wednesday 22 April, 14:00-15:00 p.m (council chairs from the councils for Natural Sciences and Social Sciences)
  • Webinar: Monday 27 April, 11:00-12:00 a.m. (council chairs from the councils for Medical Sciences and Technology and Production Sciences).

Programme for the webinars

The webinars will be held in English. The programme will be the same on both days and will include the following topics:

  • Overview of calls and funding opportunities in 2026
  • New application restrictions
  • Significant changes in the calls for proposals
  • Interview with selected chairs of the research councils

The webinars are aimed at potential applicants and others interested in learning more about the Fund’s calls for proposals. Feel free to forward the invitation to anyone who may be interested.

The webinars will be held via Zoom. Please note that there is a maximum of 1,000 participants per webinar.

Participation is free of charge and does not require registration. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
