Gemma Clare Solomon Larsen is a professor at the Department of Chemistry and the scientific director for algorithms and applications in the Novo Nordisk Foundation's Quantum Computing Programme at the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen. Her research focuses on the development of quantum algorithms and their applications in biology, chemistry, and materials science. Previously, she worked at the intersection of chemistry, physics, and nanoscience, studying charge and heat transport in molecules, and made significant contributions to the understanding of destructive quantum interference.
