Tine Rask Licht is the Director of the DTU National Food Institute. She is Professor of intestinal microbiology, focusing on the interplay between diet and the gut microbiome. She has more than 25 years of experience in research and research management and has authored numerous scientific articles in top-ranking journals. She holds an executive MBA and is an active popular science communicator, having contributed to podcasts, radio, and TV, and authored the book “Gut Feelings and Microbiology”. As member of DFF | Technology and Production Sciences (2009 -2014), she served on the council’s executive committee.
