As a new thing, we have included success rates for both male and female applicants. In 2018, the success rates for men and women are relatively equal.

Looking at all research fields and instruments, men had a combined success rate of 14.6 per cent of funds requested. In comparison, women had a combined success rate of 13.8 per cent - a difference of less than one percentage point. It is our hope that gender differences in success rates will continue to be low in the coming years.
